Eduardo's ban overturned !
The UEFA Appeals Body today accepted the appeal lodged by Arsenal FC against the two-match suspension handed to striker Eduardo.
'Not established' Following examination of all the evidence, notably the declarations of both the referee and the referees' assessor, as well as the various video footage, it was not established to the panel's satisfaction that the referee had been deceived in taking his decision on the penalty.
Decision annulled Therefore, the decision of the UEFA Control and Disciplinary Body of 1 September, in which the player was suspended for two UEFA club competition matches, is annulled.
he scores it! *'shhh celebration'*
now then, we sure learned our lesson ey boys.. no more diving! Haha i gotta stop these football posts. its like a football forum, and oouh we dont want that now do we....
forget Cashley, here's a new one. stamping an ex-colleague and confronting opposition fans who have big hatred for you isnt a bright idea, captain obvious. and innocent stewards knocked right in the middle in the process.
and you dont know what you did wrong ? a-ha.. nice one champ!
maybe there's another side to the story but to hell with it.

And it starts... Sometime around midnight Or at least that's when You lose yourself For a minute or two
As you stand... Under the barlights And the band plays some song About forgetting yourself for a while And the piano's this melancholy soundtrack To her smile And that white dress she's wearing You haven't seen her For a while
But you know... That she's watching She's laughing, she's turning She's holding her tonic like a cross The room suddenly spinning She walks up and asks how you are So you can smell her perfume You can see her lying naked in your arms
And so there's a change... In your emotions And all of these memories come rushing Like feral waves to your mind Of the curl of your bodies Like two perfect circles entwined And you feel hopeless, and homeless And lost in the haze Of the wine
And she leaves... With someone you don't know But she makes sure you saw her She looks right at you and bolts As she walks out the door Your blood boiling Your stomach in ropes And when your friends say what is it You look like you've seen a ghost
And you walk... Under the streetlights And you're too drunk to notice That everyone is staring at you And you so care what you look like The world is falling Around you
You just have to see her
And you know that she'll break you In two ----
the lyrics is as straight forward as it can get with a nice tune to it, its a crime not to like it. i love it!
----
still in uni ; posting this as we speak. i really need a good weekend but with money running short so fast and im getting sick by the day, i try not to be hopeful
and i've been trying to search for new bands so desperately because i am sick of my playlist (even if its made out of at least 2700 songs if not more)
i came across this and i fell in love with it straight away. and i love the phone conversations playing in the background. its so cute ; i cant help but smile.

this is a response to John Terry as well as others. (i forgot to mention this) it has been (and still is) the HOT topic in the football world about DIVING. all of a sudden the spotlight is on Eduardo for diving and winning the penalty against Celtic.
well here's some vids to widen your knowledge, kids!
enjoy :)
a wider perspective on the world of football. stop diving Richmond !! you truly deserved the RED CARD the 4th official have to drag him out for bad discipline. 1 match suspension !

ahoy there... i havent been updating much. but i think thats how its gonna be now. im just too lazy / busy to i guess.
as you know (or NOT) went to The All-American Rejects/Hoobastank concert a few days ago. and lets not forget the local act "The Sundance Kids". they'r pretty good.
it didnt struck me till i was there at the venue that im on a AAR/Hoobastank concert. both these bands i grew up with during my early high school days.
yeh.. so this concert was quite.... *insert word here* no, i DONT have pictures. sadly but the concert was AWESOME. but i will post this vid from The Sundance Kids just because they're equally awesome album's out on 4th September!
yes i posted the ACOUSTIC version. oh, since we're there, Colbie Caillat's album is out today! cant wait to check it out
ooh, before the concert, i twisted my ankle. i dont really know how i did it but i heard a 'cruck' sound so it was a scare! its kinda a bummer but im recovering. slowly and painfully.
what else is there...? ooh, i have to say something about Arsenal (pardon me) hope the run continues and this weekend would be an early test against, yeap, you guessed it. MAN UTD
and with that i leave you with these INTERESTING movie trailers. you heard it here first!
Inception. Christopher Nolan. should be good.
im excited about THIS ONE.... but i cant get it out of youtube because of some rights!

i am scared~
and did you know Arsenal started the season with a 6-1 win ? yeah. hopefully *fingers crossed* its consistant they wrote us off before the start of the season and suddenly we are title contenders? ppfft~

how convenient that im blogging about another Arsenal player not long after my previous post below.
this time is Kolo Toure i am not going to say much. but we appreciate your contribution to the Gunners, you were a part of the Invincibles, win trophies with us throughout the years,
here's a thought...
Toure's exit spells the end of the 'Invincibles' unbeaten for 49 games during our 03'-04' season. the rest of the 'Invincibles' include..
Jens Lehmann : Stuttgart Lauren : Portsmouth (or now a free agent?) Sol Campbell : Portsmouth Kolo Toure : Man City Ashley Cole : Chelsea Robert Pires : Villarreal Gilberto Silva : Panathanaikos .. ? Patrick Viera : Inter Milan Freddie Ljungberg : was West Ham. now somewhere in America ? doing Calvin Klein underwear products? Dennis Bergkamp : retires 2006 Thierry Henry : Barcelona
just a waste to see greed over passion. the whole English Premier League literally changed after foreign investors starts to get their dirty noses in.
and its just plain disgusting to see such a beautiful game gets 'manipulated' like this. although we've got more interest in football... but not this way!
oh well... i cant wait the the season to start... its going to be interesting...
in the mean time, i am sick as a catdogcowchickenboomboompow! fingers crossed i will recover by friday (with my submissions handed in!)
ponder on mr Wenger, sir you've got 40 mils to spend (not including the possible transfer of Eboue) we need experience more than anything! defenders preferably !

when you have a daily (or dare i say hour) twitter update? (see right column) dont worry, there will STILL be updates (but i doubt anyone reads it anyhoo)
in case you haven't heard, ADEBAYOR goes takADElagiBAibaiYOR
all the best in the richest club in the world which i dont think Mark Hughes could possibly manage... thanks for the goals and memories (particularly the Dance!)
another one bites the dust .... Wenger pls sign someone with experience ! and pls spend at least half the $25 mil that you have and pissoff your policy?
with that said... im stuck with a small space to design an office+apartment building. i am s-s-s-scared :s

i just missed 'fluffy'
for those who are wondering what in the world is "fluffy" .. go rent the movie "Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist" that movie inspired this post in the first place
yeah cheesy i bet.. but i love it.. in fact, i watched it again for the 2nd time while doing HISTORY assignment a while ago. i know, rite? HISTORY + MOVIE .. has to be the most weird combination of multi-tasking! ahaha
back to THE point! my 'fluffy' was All Time Low ... yes! its not just Trance for Mizan... i listen to (a whole lot of) other stuff... the concert was yesterday i cant believe i missed them for the 2nd time here in Melbourne! the first was at Soundwave 2008 i cant believe i missed Kings of Leon this year as well but thats a whole different story
i would've went alone but thats just sad... i need company to go there so share the moment but too bad no one is as a big fan as i am.. aw well....
a little early morning humor...
England trashed Kazakhstan little while ago with 4 goals to nil here's how they do it...
and i cant stop laughing at this...
boogidyboogidyboogidybooo... aboootss~!
more updates soon... oh trust me.. it will be soon enough...

black dress with the tights underneath i've got the breath of the last cigarette on my teeth
tell your boyfriend if he says he's got beef, im a vegetarian and i aint fckin scared of him
what? noticed that i am not in uni tonight just take a breather for whats to come .... :s
this is just a random post as i am so fckin tireddd...
oh.. the TUNE OF THE MONTH i cant seem to get it out of my head! this is my NEW "get-away" song.. cant help but smile when i listened to this... euphoric! funny story was that i was in uni when i played this song. the sudden stress and rush went to a pause and i had to stop what im doing for 7 mins
and who says trance can't go acoustic? have a listen.
when he played Bounty Island and Coral Sea in the early part of his set, i knew i was in for one hell of a night. Dont Wake Me Up, Going Wrong, Who Will Find Me, Back to You, .. there's more! wait for it... LOST, BEAUTIFUL THINGS, SOUTHERN SUN ...
tunes after tunes after tunes.... I literally lost my voice shouting.. simply amazing!... this was definitely (by far) one (out of all) the events i would cherish. and I thank you Mr Roger Shah.
the following days after was freagin (if not more) hectic... been staying overnights in RMIT's building 8 almost every day. and i dont expect it to stop just as soon yet.. piles and piles of assignments due soon. the IRONY of not having exams.... =(
worn out as we speak.
but i decided to slow the pace a little. Prav, Roms, and I went to by to Baroque House (its a little DODGY but 'funky' place) for Mabel's and Kylee's for a bit.
then... we went over to Slinky's for a bit of BUZZ & CRANIUM... we had the best time and it lasted till 5am (unsuprisingly...)
headed home to wake up for FUTSAL... yes LADIES & GENTS FUTSAL.... as you know, my physio tells me I am officially injured-free and 80% (20% included paranoia & lack of muscle excersices) fully fit for futsal!(although the knee is still a little bit dodgy..) the better team won.. im sorry team Romesh.... (5 goals babyyy.. roarrr! haha)
after futsal... ohh yess... there is an AFTER ... dont stop reading now.... we're invited by the Siaw's for a (big) dinner at CITY Grill Room. OMG how did we miss that word CITY! poots and I thought through and through it was the one on St Kilda road. when i called Jeremy asking him which stop to go down, he mentioned CITY grill room. we had to go all the way back down to the CITY and walked to KINGS ST.. (note that we (or at least I) havent eaten since morning)
we finally made it and boyy was the foood worth the waitttt.... *drooollsss* THANK YOU FOR DINNER !! (=
went home early after a short session at max brenner. and Chelsea won the FA CUP btw.. so whats new?
there it is folks.... wrapped up my 2 weeks worth of activities in 1 post... i tried to keep it as short and as simple as.... its a little too 'wordy'.
here comes another week of overnights and assignments again bracing myself for whats to come (as early as tommorow).......
wish me luck fyi, the title is related to the amount of words i typed in as well.

situation 1.
walking out of uni after all night working. the fresh melbourne air in the morning. soothing. a bit chilly but not too cold. sun rises slowly. shines on your face. smells of perfumes of people that got ready for a full day's work (and sometimes you can even smell shampoo! LOL) passes you by in the morning. the fresh baked donuts, brewed coffee.
perfect.
but here's the catch, flinders st. busy as hell. shoving and pushing until someone got the nerve to spill coffee on my HARDWORKED assignment paper. its like a kick in both balls! it happened so fast. the guy went in the tram before i knew it. i'd say that was a smart move. i was lucky its only a preliminary submission. the real deal is due thursday.
situation 2.
(12/5) do you know today is WORLD'S TRAM INSPECTOR DAY ? im assuming because i got checked by tram inspectors 6 times JUST the journey to verve and back alone. i swear they have 'em at every stop!
situation 3.
wow. you've made it this far. unfortunately there's no situation 3. (:

the most disappointing, heartbreaking of them all.
after a promising start, fans on their feet screaming their lungs out. it could've been our night. our road to the Finals. they came, they took, they conquered. i'll admit this, we were shit and they proved to be the better team.
mistakes from both defender & keeper costs us. but you cant really blame them. when some think Kieran Gibbs is an ass, i beg to differ. i think he's been wonderful.
It's the most disappointing defeat. The fans were up for a big night and to disappoint people, it hurts really. The most difficult thing for me is that we have the feeling that we never played in the semi-final. We can only look at ourselves.
although we know the Finals is nothing but a dream, we still played our hearts out. and for that, I applaud ...
to the real gooners out there, dont lose hope JUST YET. we'll pick ourselves up and and bounce back...
"The only thing I know is that all of us, no matter our perspective or how we react to defeats last night, love the Arsenal. We do it in our own ways and today we'll all be hurting about last night."

And this is the part Where you find out who you are And these are your friends Those who've been there from the start So to hell with the bad news Dirt on your new shoes It rained all of May til the month of June
She could be money, cars, fear of the dark Your best friends are just strangers in bars Where ever she is, who ever she may be One things for sure, You don't have to worry She could be rainy days, minimum wage A book that ends with no last page Who ever she is, who ever she may be One things for sure, You don't have to worry

The Medial Collateral Ligament (or at least i think this is my injury) is the knee ligament that is located on the inner side of the knee joint. It links the thigh bone and the shin bone.
went for a physio checkup today i've never been to one before. it is not like a normal 'waiting-call-enter' procedure. instead, you get assigned to your own physiotherapist and its a weekly basis checkup. the 'physio wing' of the hospital is basically like a gym. huh. people walking around with tracks and water bottles instead of the traditional "sick-and-wanna-die" face.
anyhoo,
i did my checkup and all the exercises to 'test run' my knee. my knee appears to be alright. just no heavy duty stuff.
not for AT LEAST 6 weeks.
was pretty down but its for the best. not risking further injury in the near future.
oh, my physiotherapist is Cherie btw. pretty swell if you know what i mean. hahaha awkward when she 'requested' me to strip down my pants while laughing.

that out of all the years in Melbourne, i had my first "Sing K" i know... *smacks head* right?
always avoided Sing-K cause for one, its quite pricey and im not good with microphones (i dont know why). but after today, it wasn't half as bad as i thought.
so Chun Yik, next time if you're thinking of going.. you could include me and i might think about it.. but no "epic" chinese songs k? haha
in other news....
Arsenal 2 - 0 Middlesborough
and.....
i quote-unquote so dont get angry with me source : soccernet gamecast
58'
Gomes got a clear touch on the ball, and it CLEARLY changes direction. Somehow, Howard Webb thought it was a penalty, Ronaldo converts and Spurs are fuming. No wonder. Its the worst decision I've seen this season, apart from maybe the Rob Styles decision. Where was that one? Oh, yeah, Old Trafford as well. Pathetic.
60'
Don't get me wrong, its not United fault per se. Yes, they may go looking for a penalty but who doesn't. The fact is the referee's are blinded by Manchester United love and keep pointing to the spot. Terrible.
** United's fans sing "2-0 and you f***ed it up," which only serves to incense Spurs fans further. Howard Webb will be a marked man after this one feels....
** There's a carnival atmosphere inside the ground now. This could be the result that seals their title. I wonder if Howard Webb will get to lift the trophy with them at the end of the season?

slept at 5-ish a.m. the day before and woke up at 8.30a.m. and havent slept yet since i got back from uni half hour ago (note the time is 8.51 am) and not planning to sleep till class starts again. which is soon...
so, yeah...
speaking of owls.....
Arsenal vs Liverpool... epic!
though i think we could've grabbed the win yossi just robbed us big time! unfair Andrey Arshavin !!!!! the russian owl (so says alex) scored all 4 goals.... truly stunning. especially the second goal we need more of that!
and its arshavin, andrey arshavin! he's by far the (one of the) greatest player, the world has ever seen

just when i thought easter break's over was depressing, it got worse. our hope of winning a silverware ended with a 2 - 1 loss against Chelski
somehow i knew walcott's goal wouldnt last just when there was hope of an FA CUP FINAL, they took it from us..
credits to the gunners from playing their hearts out. i dont understand why arshavin and nasri didnt start probably wenger thought the champions league starting 11 was good enough. apparently not. aw well... we still have the Champions League.

the back story... Alex called me up and asked me to watch the Arsenal vs Villareal match at his place. which is pretty far from where i stay. i double-checked with him that ESPN is showing the match and he said YES. so i got there a bit early say around 3.30 a.m. when the match started at 4.45 a.m., to my surprise,......
ESPN showed the MAN UTD vs PORTO game and then a small voice from the room said.. "ooo shiiittt, its ESPN HD!" "how come i didnt see it !???" "sorryyyyyy mizannnn!!"
ITS STRIKE 2 FOR YOU ALEX!
so we turned on livescore and we kinda sat through the whole MAN UTD match :( with Bong... takyahhh laaa
we end up watching the match (already knowing the score) after the MAN UTD match
thanks to the lucky charms (my gooner sock as alex would put it) we won 3 - 0 !!!! fabregas' flick to theo walcott's goal was sheer brilliance! followed by adebayor's and van persie's.
but following fixtures is a nightmare! liverpool, chelsea, man utd, chelsea, man utd. =( we'll see you MANCs in the semis then...
and lastly, this picture is dedicated to alex yeo... i know you like that dance dont ya' ?
and its Arsenal, Arsenal FC! we're by far the greatest team, the world has ever seen...!

phroahh.. its been a long long day... didnt get much sleep and was watching movies after movies (educational, mind you!) in history and E.S.D. class.
but i was glad i stayed for E.S.D. though i just realized how effed-up earth is and how 'geniuses' around the world try to make it better.
search William McDonough. good shit. talking about how our waste can be turned back into food for the environment with the correct materials used for things. i could go on...
yeah.. nerdy. i know but i dont wanna be around when earth turns to a wasteland. so i'll try my best to do bits to help... hahahahhaaaa .... ??
wow.. an educational post. so to speak...
in other news... c'mon you gunners! gun and sink them yellow submarines down...!
easter break. too bloody bad i cant make it to TRANCE ENERGY :( all my fav DJs will be there. :(

it was so random. and embarrassing. everyone was looking at me.
oh, guess whos got a new chair??? :) new 'comfy' chair means less going out more staying in. bloody hell uni work is killing me

here we go.. another one... the semester is getting busier.
you know what you feel when you're at the end of the semester and its 'rush hour' where things have to be handed in or like exam period and last minute studying feeling ?
thats it... its every week for me. and its not getting any easier. the price to pay for doing this course. not that big of a deal though but its very exhausting.
i realized that now im time-conscious and im not an 'organized' type of person so to speak. haha.. but yes.. its hectic! its so bad that sacrifices have to be made.. more work less fun this year meaning Romesh.... 21st bday.... thinking twice ...
my classmate asked me how am i gonna cope for the next couple of years if i should continue architecture. this made me think ........ aw well.. getting used to it (i hope) plus! my new desktop helps a lot! no more lagggggs while doing work and ooh.. lets not forget the ever so helpful Chun Yik that 'tosser' :)

yes i've seen the Future for the 3rd time. but who's counting? haha (couldnt bother listing the lineups. google it if ur interested (:)
bummer side of this year's Future : . almost everyone pulled out! . i did not perform 'le ritual' properly . squished-squashed by (friendly?) muh-zahs . transport to and from to the racecourse wasnt efficient enough . got tired as early as 7pm there. (getting too old for this) LOL
with that aside... it wasnt as bad as i thought. when i woke up, the weather was GLOOMY. so i didnt bother to take my shades out but bought a jumper instead
but when we got there. the sun was shining. it was warm and cool at the same time. perfect weather. and then there was SUPER8 & TAB
dropping tunes such as miracle, new york city and elektra... gosh how i miss those tunes that can make me smile over and over and over again.
and the venue wasnt half as bad compared to Sydney Myer. more spacious and easy to get around. cept that the mainstage was so overly crowded you couldnt even move. so we were at the Godskitchen arena the whole way.
like a friend of mine said... "we live in a Kitchen!" when i said "this is Home..."
Markus Shulz's set was alright but wasnt really 'feeling' it. probably cause im dead tired. haha
ah well... till the next Future. hohoho.. ? we'll see....

since i blogged. now then.. updates..
nothing much really. been pretty freakin busy since school starts and all...
i have a feeling im in one hell of a year. i dont feel.... i KNOW !
anyyyyways... to the happy stuff. I got this one heck of a BEAUTY deck of cards themed "Suit Up" which cost around $20 AUD from an exhibition at 'No Vacancy' in QV. What they do is they gather up Australian 'artist' to make artworks for exhibition. the artwork (more like the ones you see on walls in the alleys in aussie NOT the dodgy ones!) is tainted in these cards. Though if i have the money i would buy them big portraits instead.

guess what? i just spent around $19.50 (aussie dollars) for a movie. along with kchai and roms
"My Bloody Valentine : 3D" yes. on valentine's eve. ironic...
they shouldve showed Friday the 13th since it is friday.. the 13th... i would go for that. 3D or not!
anyways, it was a good experience watching a horror flick in 3D. im gonna spoil the story a little bit but i bet u guys won't bother watching this anyways
watching the movie screen with 3D glasses all the way could be annoying sometimes. but its great fun watching tree branches stab through, or a guy's chin getting ripped by an axe, per say, as it splats all over your face.
and lets not forget them cheesy lines. ooh. u have to have cheesy lines in a horror movie like this.
guy : " i thought Harry is in a coma!?" other guy : " i guess he WOKE up... " -____-
you could hear the ppl in the cinema laughing through the movie.

now where was i. ouh yes. after dreadful Dubai airport, there was KLIA. after a 7 hour flight, im dead tired.
i went for a hunt for teh-tarik in the international airport. im too lazy to go out so i just stayed in the international terminal. saw this "Rimba Cafe". turns out, there's none. there's kueh tiaw and nasi lemak, and i thought, why not?
it cost me RM10.90 for a kueh tiaw and another RM6 for a small cup of tea. what a bloody rip-off! and the kueh tiaw was the worst tasting food i've ever eaten. not too mention its cold!
then i slept through the whole transit time and then another 7 hour flight. ouh! and we were about to land, the plane gets faulty!! you know that feeling when you ride a rollercoaster where you're dropped from the sky and felt like your body was still up there? try that feeling for 10 seconds in a real life situation on a plane!! i literally heard people screaming. boy was i glad when the plane landed.......
it was hell but i made it!
but then again, my luggage is still in Dubai! those fuktards in Dubai airport didnt transfer my baggage!! now i am shirtless and what not. my luggage only arrive tmrw morning. im not bitching but this is ridiculous.
the day before i arrived, the weather was like, 47 degrees. when i arrive that night, it was a cool 18 degrees and its still maintaining. im getting sick though.
ouh, prayers to those who lost their loved ones in the TERRIBLE bushfire all across Australia. the worst bush fire i've ever heard in my entire life.
no class till week 2. guys! come back quick! Romesh and I are bored already. Serena and Kelvin Chai won't call us....

first, a little Myth buster for you. they call it GSM (global satellite mobile) where we call 'em a handphone. what about them? apparently, some stoopid idiot didnt switch off his/her 's on the plane. i was sleeping on an hour's flight from Oman to Dubai for transit it ranged (SMS) on the plane!
i freakin thought i was dreaming. then i heard it again (3 times). motherclucker didnt bother to switch it off. ON THE PLANE
amazing how no one even bothered.
shows that the (some) people in this part of the world (im not pointing any fingers on arabs or indians) are either idiots or daredevils. not to mention rude and self-centered.
currently in Dubai airport bored shitless and reading FHM (i bought it for you roms!)

and i stumbled upon this DvD. 'Predator' starring the one and only, SCHWARZENEGGER! i had to get it.
this might be the (roughly) 20 times i watched this movie. yes. believe it. one of my fav. movies.
it still is as good as the first time Iwatched it (after god knows how long) though now I realized its filled with cheesy line such as ''stick around'' when Mr Arnold stabbed a guerrilla rebel on the wall. i literally LMAO!
and this is the only movie(i guess) where you see ARNOLD showed his body one too many times. and also see him squeals like a little girl during the "epic" battle at the end.
