Mr Rodney Ng Chee Han

whos probably in Singapore and back to Kuching after that.
quite an emotional farewell as me, Romesh and Praveen went to his apartment and said our last goodbyes.

my first ever (and probably the best ever) roommate in Melbourne

on that faithful Sunday at approx. 10pm (cant remember the date ; all i know is the next day was the first day of Trinity College )
i went back to Arrow on Swanston, theres this head peeping out of his room wondering whos at the door.
Typical Rodney went out with his pajamas (Land Cruiser shirt? and brown elastic pants all tucked in) and said Hello and introduced himself.
the start of one hellofa friendship.
roommates till mid 2008.

late night talks before bed
lets not forget his Wednesday Trinity attire ; a blue 'World Without Strangers' shirt with shorts and slippers (black reebok robocop shoes during winter)

his never ending packets of IndoMee (the original ones not those at safeways) ; we ate so much that the empty packets overflowed from the rubbish bin till out the door!

his catch phrases "chow kuku lan momo ngok ngok ngok"
his disgustingly unique burp

i can go on and on and on...

here's to all the memories Rodney!
goodluck with everything and all the best!!

the past week...

It has been an eventful past week for me.

First up I went to the All Time Low gig at the Hi Fi with The Almost and Dance Gavin Dance as supporting acts.

This was the first time i went to a gig by MYSELF. It felt a little awkward lining up alone for an hour.

one of my biggest regret was going WITHOUT A CAMERA because i dont have one of those compact camera :( :( :( :(

despite going alone (and the benefit of squeezing through the front with ease)...

I got to see The Almost so its kinda 'killing 2 birds with one stone'. Plus, i heard Dance Gavin Dance for the first time (although im not in to much screamO they arent that bad). They got the crowd pumping ; starting the mosh.

I was lucky enough to avoid those pushing and shoving as I was all the way up in the front ; the stage was literally reachable. I got to stand next to a sweet and the most friendly girl ever *ahem*

All Time Low opened with 'Lost In Stereo' already the crowd went freaking crazy!
throughout the gig, shirts and bras were thrown on stage. yeeish.

Alex from All Time Low pulled out the acoustic guitar and played 'Remembering Sunday'. Towards the ending of the song (the part where Juliet Simms sang) Cassadee Pope from HEY MONDAY came out!

this made my fcking night!
at the end of the show (i think it was 'Weighless' they were playing i forgot) Jack went to the crowd and hugged and shook everyone's hands (including MINE!).
I was drenched, moshed, and trampled on but it was fcking AMAZING!

I got a chance to catch a drum stick but instead i ACCIDENTALLY grab a girl's boob (woops)
dont worry the 'victim' didnt mind because she caught the bloody drum stick (not MINE) HAHA!
so its all good

ooh ooh, after the show i got to hang with the whole band from Dance Gavin Dance!
Matt (kickass of a drummer) was so friendly ; he even asked everyone to come hang with them at a pub somewhere.
the ONLY picture i took was with him (Matt)

I GOT TO SEE ALL TIME LOW AFTER ALL THESE YEARS !!(i missed them back on 2007)

well there it is. such an amazing night!
