FUTURE MUSIC FESTIVAL 08

went to the future 2 years in a row.
and i guess not much changed. props etc looks pretty much the same.
lineups this year was good but preferred last year's lineups for some reason.

this year,
rockin up the mainstage during the day was john digweed, eddie halliwell & sven vath among others. digweed's set was sickkk. (=
the ever so popular gnome of the future.


the sky wrote 'Tiesto' for some reason.

bloody packed as well
then, the long awaited chemical brothers was playing.
the light shows are freagin awesome!!
went nuts when galvanize, hey boy,hey girl, get yourself high and do it again

so does the crowd
the trademark clown ? HAHA.. just get urself HIGH !


left the mainstage to catch Marcuz Shulz spinning.
was a good set but my expectations were a bit high.
the best part was when the fireworks (from the mumba festival) light up the skies.

it was a beautyyyy. right when shulz was playing Fly Away and Daydream.
pretty awesome aey ? that did it for me for the night.

one hell of a crowd! literally got tossed and pushed. came to a point that i was pushed right up front of the stage and got pulled back again. really wild. some of those crazy crowd ppl wanted to lift me up for crowd surf. MAYBE next time.. (=

Cloverfield.. how bout this for a movie?

duration : 1 hour !?what!?
the whole movie is in video camera view..
you can expect major headaches ...
once you got used to it, its alright i reckon?

really good plot line.. i think..
and the video camera makes you feel like you're IN the movie...

funny thing..
when the movie is over, everyone was still in their seats.. although the credits already started rolling, ppl in the cinema were kinda expecting more.. cause its only been 1 hour...
awkward silence when the movie ended..

watched 2 movies 2 days in a row before heading back to melbourne

1st was AVP2 :Requiem
I was really excited when they first announced the movie's release.. big fan...
then after the long2 wait, my expectation went lower and lower.
but it was a nice movie with great visual effects... (caught a glimpse of the Predator's homeworld mind you)
but i was expecting so much more.. aw well.. at least i got to see the 'Pred-Alien' thingy
hints of a 3rd ? with Mrs Yutani in the end?




and talking about visual effects...

Mr John Rambo is back! now with saggy muscles..
but Stallone was still good in this movie.. not much talk, more Rambo...
if you cant stand the sight of bodies flying or chopped of body parts then this is no movie for you.
halfway through the movie i see some ppl leaving the cinema.. probably cant stand nasty stuff aye..

a good movie where you watch with your friends and ..... laugh??

the trip here was the worse..!!

Melbourne - KL = 8 hours
KL - Karachi (pakistan transit) = 7 hours
Karachi - Dubai = 2 hours (another 4 hour transit)
Dubai - Oman - 50 mins...

count the hours including transit time..? almost a phreagin day!!! up and down aeroplanes..

the KL-Karachi-Dubai trip was the worse.. there's this chubby women.. she cant stop talking and laughing.. and when her friends are asleep, she 'mingles' with the cabin crew and even the pakistani beside her.. i pity him... biyaattchh!!!!!
and using airbus A330 ? with no tv in front of you.. for 8 hours ? what the FFF!!?!?!?!?!?!
lucky for my i-pod...
